Travelling, that too alone ….. Aren’t you worried…? Don’t be. That makes your smart, brave and no doubt confident….. Isn’t it true? But yeah I know. Parents…. They don’t believe that we are elder enough to travel alone… So, what’s your plan …..? You are going to cancel your trip…. Better NO…. you have other options try to convince your parents and behave maturely when travelling with them…. Well this is the only solution… But yeah I have some great ideas for all those who are travelling alone. Because a single wrong step can spoil your trip. So better follow these tips to travel alone. Moreover you can impress your parents by these tips and no doubt your parent will allow you next time without any further question. Here we go –
Ø Never ever rely on any stranger when you are out somewhere, even if other person is some good looking guy or gal or any old age person.
Ø Don’t give your details to anyone whom you don’t know. Don’t tell them where you are going, where you will stay and for how many days.
Ø Book your rooms in advance so that you don’t have to face problem when you reach there.
Ø If possible try to get detailed information about the place & hotel from some relative or friend who has been to that place earlier.
Ø Keep your entire luggage with yourself. No doubt leave it in your booked room when you are out for sightseeing but don’t forget to lock your luggage and room too.
Ø Keep all the required documents with yourself. Better get 2-3 photocopies of your documents and keep one with your luggage, other at your home and one with yourself.
Ø Keep a record of all phone numbers, email – id in your personal diary which you always carry. So, that even if your phone gets lost or your phones battery ditches you in midway you can contact your parents and friends whenever you wish.
Ø Make sure to inform your parents or your family members whenever you are out for somewhere. So that they know exactly where you are going.
Ø Better take help of internet and other travel magazines & books to get detailed information about your travel destination before reaching there. It will help you in behaving properly in that place as every city and town has its own culture, rules, laws and traditions; disobeying them may create problem. So better be alert.
Ø Be alert, keep your senses open, but that doesn’t mean that you should start behaving like a detective. Behave normally, and don’t tell everyone that you are a tourist.
Ø Avoid roaming in night in lonely streets, that’s not at all safe for anyone, neither guys nor gals.
Ø Keep your cameras and other attachments in a backpack or a waist bag which is easily accessible and safe too. You can also keep your documents and a little amount of cash in bag for unfavorable situations.
All these simple tips will surely help you out in answering your parents questions and your‘s too. Now don’t worry, pack your bag and enjoy a safe tour.
